Inside De Havenloods Utrecht, Twan Eshuis and I spent over a year moving through the building and noticing how its studios slowly built up their own visual language. Layers of use, time, and making became visible in small traces across the space.
The canvas is based on this observation. It translates what we saw and experienced into an asemic story inspired by the building itself, developed first through analog work and later refined digitally.

The logo for Studio Antwan is built around the idea behind the name itself. While “Antwan” is often read as a single Dutch name, the studio is actually formed by two people: Anne and Twan.
The identity plays with this misunderstanding and turns it into its core concept. The logo reflects the merge of two individuals into one name, and the way that can be read as either singular or dual depending on context.
